As we develop Scania’s battery electric transport solutions, we are looking for a new Head of Data Analytics. Together with colleagues in the Value Creation Teams, the data analytics group delivers data products that make insights from data an integral part of our decision-making.

About You
You are a leader, with a technical background in data science and data engineering in practice. While not necessarily a technical expert, you understand the challenges and opportunities of putting data solutions into production. You embrace a data-driven mindset that you can teach and communicate to a wide range of audiences on different levels in the company.
Your Role
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of currently 5 data engineers and data scientists, fostering an open and collaborative culture.
• Strategic Vision: Define and drive the strategic direction of the data analytics group, aligning with organizational objectives and ensuring the team’s work has a meaningful impact on business decisions.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, understanding their needs and ensuring that data solutions are tailored to drive their success.
• Data Strategy Implementation: Oversee the development and implementation of data analytics strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights that guide engineering, product, and strategy decisions in the battery electric vehicle development.
To succeed in this role
We think that you:
• Have experience leading teams in data science and data engineering, with a proven ability to manage complex assignments from concept to execution.
• Are familiar with the processes required to put machine learning models and data pipelines into production, and together with senior staff be able to guide the team in overcoming the associated challenges.
• Have a demonstrated ability to craft and communicate vision and strategy, and help the organization through adoption.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional audiences and look beyond initial feedback to truly understand the stakeholder's needs.
• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics/Statistics.
