KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide management support in creating a structured data analysis framework in the areas of KPI metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics in a timely and effective manner.
• Act as the custodian of the Analytics platform and its data whilst taking the initiative to improve strategies of capturing data and data storage thereby ensuring the continuous improvement of the existing framework.
• Communicate the findings on Analytics insights to senior management via formal presentations, standard management reporting artefacts on periodic/quarterly/annual basis to identify business opportunities and actions thereby improving productivity/efficiency.
• Act as the domain expert for Analytics and Data Science by displaying a good knowledge on Data science and the business process to enable a data driven decision making culture.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the group to promote data governance and stewardship whilst improving overall strategic and operational performance thereby ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contributing towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Degree/ professional qualification in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics or Finance
• 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity (Knowledge in Financial auditing will be advantageous) 
• Coordination skills 
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Power BI
• Having knowledge in Python and SQL is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization.
