Job Description

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Pricing Data Insights Team. As part of the Pricing Domain, this team is responsible for collecting and analysing pricing data—such as competitive signals and reference prices—to enhance the customer experience and drive informed decision-making. Our goal is to ensure that we fully utilize current input data to maximize outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Elaborate on the mirroring process (Increase competitive coverage and reduce scraping costs by expanding the scenarios where existing competitors data can be utilized in various cases).

• Working on improving the matching process, transitioning from manual matching of items to an automatic matching system.

• Developing automated pipelines tailored to various reporting needs and requests.

• Collaborating with other tech specialists, including analytics engineers, data engineers, data scientists, developers to create a full-cycle solution.

• Building a corresponding dashboard and analysis to comprehend reference price coverage, driving the promotional processes across the entire company.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience working in an analytics-focused role (e-commerce experience is a plus);

• BA+ in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field;

• B2+ English.

Hard skills:

•  Proficiency in Python programming (ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot Python code for data analysis tasks, using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization)

• Proficiency in SQL to write high-performance queries to work with large amounts of data and draw conclusions useful for business on their basis

• Experience in BI tools to visualize data will be a plus (preferably Power BI)

• Understanding the concept of orchestrator and writing DAGs will be a plus (preferably Airflow) 

Soft skills:

• Good understanding of the marketing and business processes of the e-commerce company;

• Ability to find points of growth / possible areas of optimization in the company's work and formulate action plans for implementing changes;

• Mindset on an independent search for facts. Ability to deal with uncertainty in data. Ability to ask questions correctly and formulate clear answers to them;

• Readiness for continuous development, expansion of the range of professional skills, and automation of routine operations.
