Knowesis is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support TRICARE Encounter Data (TED) reporting to the DHA TRICARE Health Plan Directorate, Performance Analysis Transition and Integration Section, by providing technical expertise in data analysis and TRICARE performance data reporting.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze and evaluate data, functional requirements and business processes to facilitate the successful integration, implementation, and maintenance of the purchased care TED systems and business processes.
- With Government oversight, compile, prepare and distribute the daily Benchmark Cycle Plan to the Solutions Delivery division (SDD.)
- Run the TED EER reports daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly for both Benchmark and Production environments.
- Monitor transaction errors from TED EER reports for Benchmark and Production environments.
- Analyze the cause(s) of TED errors and provide written recommendations to resolve the issues, which include, but are not limited to proper data elements and code values to be used.
- Produce data extracts/reports using standard tools to verify data quality and usage.
- Update TED reference tables on a routine and ad hoc basis.
- Schedule and monitor monthly meetings with the contractors to discuss and resolve TED edit errors.
- With Government oversight, coordinate the TED system workgroup which includes discussions on the two-way interfaces that process TED and provider records.
- Provide the workgroup and TED program manager with updates to all issues being tracked that involve TED development resources.
- Document and monitor all TED system changes. Coordinate release priorities with Health Information Technology’s (HIT) SDD and TED developers
- As sanctioned by the Government, monitor and participate in discussion/meetings for all disaster recovery tests pertaining to the Purchased Care Contracts.
- Maintain and modify Business Objects (BO) reports as needed to support the monthly reporting of TRICARE Encounter Data (TED) claims processing performance against DHA claims processing performance standards.
- Create and maintain monthly TED Performance Reports utilized in the Performance Assessment Tracking tool; this includes:
- Running TED Monitoring (TM), reports for each TRICARE purchased care contract;
- Analyzing report data;
- Verifying and correcting report discrepancies;
- Updating contractor performance worksheets;
- Mitigating system/application discrepancies; and
- Responding to DHA Program Office inquiries.
- Assist in the generation and issuance of contractor monthly performance reports
- Research and answer TED-related questions as they pertain to TM report results and when necessary, coordinate responses on behalf of the Government with Government Program Analysts.
- Attend DHA application/system support change meetings with Government Program Analyst and provide input and clarification of application/system change requirements.
- Organize and document Government system change requirements for the TM application/system.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years experience with MHS Mart (M2), EAS IV (MEPRS), and MHS Data Repository (MDR) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance management, preferably within a healthcare or government setting.
- Proven experience to perform complex data analyses to assist in the development and execution of complex solutions to various challenges in healthcare delivery required.
Required Education:
- Master’s degree in a related field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Business Administration.
