Senior Data Analyst

Are you able to extract valuable insights from your analyses and transform these into business opportunities? Our team is currently expanding and we are looking for a Data Analyst.  

This is what your assignment looks like  

You will be combining and translating company-wide data into valuable business insights. These insights will drive the future development of the organization. Due to our agile way of working, you will be involved in those topics that are most relevant to the business and have the most impact and exposure in the organization. Together with your colleagues you will be further developing the Basic-Fit analytics platform.  

Your responsibilities will be:  

• Deliver high-quality analyses across a range of business areas. 

• Design and develop dynamic dashboards and reports (Power BI). 

• Contribute to various companywide projects and working groups. 

• Bring a data science edge to analytics, leveraging tools like Python for advanced modeling and insights.   

In addition, you will: 

• Lead data initiatives and manage relationships with senior stakeholders. 

• Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their technical and analytical capabilities. 

This is how the team will look like  

You will be part of the Marketing Analytics team, representing multiple nationalities, that focuses on constantly improving the shared understanding of how the business model generates value by:  

• Root-cause analysis, KPI setting and Dashboarding;  

• Business partnering with the international leadership team;  

• End-to-end development of business intelligence;  

• Producing comprehensive management and board reporting. 

• Organizing, managing, and executing analytics projects. 

We ask:  

An analytical thinker with the capacity to digest complex information, see trends and insights through data, translate this into concrete actions, and communicate them to stakeholders. A self-starter with a strong team player and proven problem-solving skills and ability to mentor and guide Junior team members. 

Furthermore, we're asking: 

• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO). 

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a senior role. 

• Strong communication skills to effectively lead initiatives and engage with senior stakeholders. 

• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members. 

• Business-driven attitude and familiarity with Agile methodology. 

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft BI stack (SQL, DAX, Power BI, Azure). 

• Proficiency in Python is a must; experience with BigQuery is a plus. 

• A strong desire to continuously develop skills in the latest technologies.
