Rate: $55,000 - $58,000

Location: 2806 McGavock Pike Nashville, TN

Shift: 8:00AM – 4:30PM (Flexible Scheduling Allowed)


     The Tennessee Office for Refugees (TOR) operates as a department of Catholic Charities of Nashville (CCN) and oversees the administration of federally funded programs that support refugee resettlement and integration across Tennessee. TOR works to empower refugees and immigrants by providing resources and services that promote self-sufficiency, including employment assistance, education, and community engagement programs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst will manage databases, maintain data integrity, provide crucial technical support, and analyze and present data for stakeholders, government officials, and future funders. 


JOB DUTIES:

  • Oversee the overall administration of the SalesForce database platform.
  • Ensure the database is consistently updated, secure, and compliant with agency standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement improvements.
  • Develop comprehensive database training programs for TOR staff and partners.
  • Tailor training content to address specific needs and challenges identified by Database Users.
  • Lead engaging and interactive training sessions to empower Users 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement preventative measures for future data integrity.
  • Engage with staff and partners to assess database and reporting needs.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss database-related concerns and improvements.
  • Create and execute scheduled reports to provide ongoing insights for decision-making.
  • Analyze and present data in a way that provides actional insights for programmatic decisions.
  • Actively participate in supervision sessions, periodic team meetings, and training. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  

Required Education or Experience:

  • Education equivalent to completion of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator preferred.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets, conducting large-scale data cleaning and migrations, training non-technical staff on database platforms, and implementing changes in production environments.


Required Skills:

  • Ability to learn databases and other systems, such as Asana.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, with the ability to shift priorities. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and supervisors. 
  • Ability to work effectively as a team and independently. 
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English. 
  • Current driver’s license required. Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and/or provide own transportation.
