HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Your key responsibilities in this function will be the following:

 

  1. Data Modeling and Architecture
  • Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data architecture
  • Develop data set processes for data modelling, mining, and production
  • Translate business needs into data models that provide insightful analytics

 

  1. ETL Development
  • Collaborate with business to build the data model
  • Write queries for data extraction and analytic purposes
  • Optimize the performance of our data lake platform

 

  1. Analytics Support and data governance
  • Work with data analysts to transform raw data into actionable insights
  • Provide clean, usable data to end-users
  • Ensure the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Document the data systems, processes, and schemas

 

  1. Collaboration and Communication
  • Work with business users to refine data requests and improve data models
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with SQL and scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with GCP services (i.e. Composer, Cloud Run)
  • Experience with data modelling tools (i.e. DBT, LookML)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in a data-driven environment working with large data sets and complex data pipelines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
  • Good in both spoken and written English
