World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am - 6:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. About the Job:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Analyst to join our Data Insights team. This role will focus on creating compelling, clear, and actionable visualizations that drive data-driven decisions across key departments, including Marketing, Sales, and Credit Analysis. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in data analytics with a focus on crafting impactful dashboards and reports.

You will collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality visual reports and dashboards, making complex data accessible and insightful for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, ensuring they are intuitive and impactful.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, and other departments to translate business needs into actionable data insights.

·         Ensure data integrity through thorough validation and quality checks, working closely with Data Engineers and Analysts.

·         Streamline data collection and visualization processes to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

·         Provide training and guidance on interpreting dashboards and reports to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• ·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• ·         2+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization.
• ·         Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is required. Familiarity with VBA is a plus.
• ·         Demonstrated ability to create polished and user-friendly dashboards and reports.
• ·         Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly.
• ·         Experience collaborating across multiple teams and managing diverse priorities.
• Preferred Skills:
• ·         Knowledge of data storytelling and best practices for effective communication.
• ·         Familiarity with financial or credit risk data is a plus.
• ·         Experience in automating reporting processes.
