Data Engineer

Data Engineer

Skills 

• Design, build, and manage data pipelines for complex data structures, including data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata, and workload management.
• Leverage Microsoft Azure Data technologies such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Edge to develop robust, efficient, and reliable data pipelines.
• Implement scalable and resilient ETL/ELT processes to support business needs.
• Ensure the data architecture supports lineage, maintaining the history of data flow and transformations.
• Work on data streaming projects, handling real-time data processing for edge computing scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for data ingestion, cleansing, and aggregation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and classifications to document data lineage, providing clear definitions, dependencies, and data sources to end users.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data technologies and related tools.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Azure Edge or related technologies.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory)
