The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Analysis - Power BI & Automation (FP&A) to join the team on a permanent basis in the India office.
The role supports the Head of FP&A for APAC and is responsible for the reporting and analysis of all the regional reports delivered.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Overall custodian of intercompany order-to-cash and procure-to-pay process, ensuring process efficiency, tight and strict internal controls management
- Full P&L analysis scope covering revenue to operating margin to operating expenses and EBITDA for a diverse business including hardware, software and services.
- In charge of reporting and consolidation for APAC region (10+ countries covering Australia, Japan, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Rest of South East Asia)
- Prepare regional reports: Overall APAC monthly business reviews, APAC monthly R&D business reviews, APAC Operations business reviews, APAC functional cost reviews etc.
- Drive and support the regular financial planning and analysis activities in the region: budgeting, forecasting, actuals, variance analysis, trend analysis, risk and opportunities.
- Work together with the country finance teams to ensure timely and reliable reporting, provide guidance and support.
- Monitor and analyse APAC financial performance, by country, by product, by function.
- Work together with APAC leadership (CFO, COO, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT) on KPIs monitoring and provide insights / recommendations
- Support Group / regional projects
- Other ad hoc tasks as appropriate
Education and Experience
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience of FP&A or related analytical experiences
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams with demonstrable experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment.
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Excellent understanding of the organisation’s goals and objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant university qualification
- Relevant certification (eg; CA/CPA) or studying
- Good working knowledge of Accounting Systems
