Optimizing and Automating Performance Management Reporting & Narratives for NAOU
This internship has the opportunity to make a lasting impact of transforming the way in which we performance manage within TCCC.
We will first start with sharing the baseline work that is done today and share with you the vision and goals for our organization. The future state reporting will center around on how we can best improve our format, framework, and visualization of results.
Additionally, with the emergence of AI and specifically Chat GPT we would like to explore a way in which business results can be explained in an automated fashion.
We believe the future is now and getting experience in this space can be advantageous for you as well as our team and the broader NAOU community.
As additional time presents itself other impactful opportunities will be explored and provided.

This opportunity would be optimal best for graduate students pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, and are eager to acquire hands-on experience in financial analysis and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Utilize AI algorithms and tools to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and report on trends and variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on predictive analytics and AI-driven models.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field with a final graduation date no earlier than December 2025.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and FP&A processes.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, SQL) and AI platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial planning software.
- Prior internship or project experience in FP&A, finance, or AI-related roles.
Monthly Compensation:
Undergraduate Students: $4,506
Graduate Students: $6,066 Grad
