Role Overview 🔎

Are you excited about redefining how legal technology supports the property industry in the US? As a US Legal Engineer at Orbital Witness, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the growth and success of our AI-powered legal assistant, Orbital Copilot, which is transforming property law. By joining a company recognised for pioneering legal tech solutions, you’ll work with cutting-edge Generative AI technology to improve the efficiency and accessibility of legal services. Your primary focus will be on empowering our commercial teams—Sales, Customer Success, and Business Development—to deliver impactful solutions to our clients as we expand into the US market.

This role is ideal for a US-qualified attorney with a passion for technology and a strong interest in client-facing, commercial activities. While experience in real estate law is preferred, candidates with expertise in related areas of US law are encouraged to apply.

You’ll get a chance to: 👩‍💻 👨‍💻

• Work closely with our commercial team to support new business and customer success efforts, ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Act as a trusted advisor during client onboarding and training, helping users understand and implement Orbital Copilot in their workflows.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to gather client feedback and contribute to the evolution of our AI solutions.
• Represent Orbital in client interactions, becoming a key point of contact for understanding customer needs and providing insights about our product’s legal capabilities.
• Be a pioneer in introducing cutting-edge legal tech to the US market, showcasing the value of Generative AI in legal services.

You should apply if: ✍️

• You are a US-qualified attorney with a demonstrable track record in legal practice, ideally in Real Estate Law, but all similar/related related fields will be considered (e.g. Land Use and Zoning, Construction Law, Environmental Law, Corporate/Transactional Law, Finance/Banking etc.)
• You’re passionate about working directly with clients and enjoy engaging with sales, customer success, and business development teams.
• You have a strong understanding of how legal workflows operate and can effectively communicate these processes to both clients and internal teams.
• You are highly computer literate and excited about technology’s role in transforming legal services.
• You’re curious about AI and software development, particularly in the context of Large Language Models (LLMs), and have a strong desire to leverage these tools in your work.
• You’re adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.

It would also be nice if you:

• Have experience working with legal software or LegalTech tools, especially in a client-facing capacity.
• Have some in-house experience as a lawyer.
• Have experience training or onboarding clients, conducting demos, or hosting workshops.
• Have dabbled in programming, no-code tools, software integrations/plugins, or complex SaaS tools for work or personal projects.
