Senior Product Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us at our business centre in Bradford.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Technology function, to help us build, launch and enhance innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work with the Product Manager and Liberty Blume Business Solutions teams to support the strategy for Product Management. You will be key in supporting across the entire product lifecycle, including the product roadmap, from its conception to launch and ongoing evolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritise customer requirements, define the product vision, and oversee the development and launch of new products. You will also support measuring and analysing product performance

What will you be doing?

• Conduct market research, user studies, and competitor analysis to identify market needs and product opportunities.
• Own, develop and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Own and define the product vision and roadmap from PoC, MVP and versions of product
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data, technology, design, marketing, sales, commercial and operations to define product requirements and specifications and prioritise these
• Lead the product development process, overseeing design, development, testing, and launch.
• Drive product launches, working closely with the brand & marketing teams, sales teams and operational teams to ensure successful execution and adoption.
• Analyse product performance, user feedback, and market trends to iterate and improve the product continually
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the product space
• Owns the Product Delivery roadmap to time, cost and quality measures
• Works with Technology & Delivery teams to agree resource allocation to enable delivery of product roadmap
• Work with commercial to ensure succeful monetisation of the product, working with Technology to optimise build and run costs of existing and new features
• Align with auxiliary teams (Legal, Security, Privacy & Regulatory) to ensure all relevant reviews and sign offs, to create and maintain a ‘market fit’ product, are completed

We tend to look for people with: 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Experience in product management, with a successful track record of bringing products to market.
• Understanding of product development processes and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and a user-centric approach to product development.
• Proficiency in project management and product management tools
• Proven experience working with technologies and delivering digitisation projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrable stakeholder management skills including exposure to the Senior Leadership Team
• Resilience – organised, motivated and adaptable in the face of changing priorities.
• Attention to detail – gets things right first time through effective self-review, and by critically challenging data inputs and explanations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of Hyperscaler platforms, with Google Cloud Platform (e.g. Vertex AI) desired
• Understanding of technical languages / libraries such as Python & React
• Understanding of technical architecture, including on-prem & cloud
• Understanding of LLMs, ML, NLP – applied within a conversational assistant / vertical agent context
• Experience in a startup / scale-up environment
