We are looking for a Drone Solution Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in designing and deploying AI-driven software pipelines for drone-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AI and robotics and a solid understanding of business requirements to deliver practical and impactful drone solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable systems for real-time data processing, leveraging advanced AI models to meet dynamic project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Software Pipeline Development:
-Develop and maintain AI-based software pipelines for drone systems.
-Integrate machine learning models into real-time drone workflows, focusing on computer vision, object detection, and tracking.
-Ensure efficient processing on edge devices using frameworks like GStreamer, DeepStream, or equivalent tools.
2. Requirement Analysis & Feasibility Studies:
-Work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into technical implementations.
-Analyze feasibility and recommend AI-based solutions for business and operational challenges.
-Prepare detailed technical documentation and flow diagrams for proposed systems.
3. AI Development & Deployment:
-Train, fine-tune, and deploy AI models for drone-specific tasks such as navigation, mapping, and data analytics.
-Optimize models for edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm RB5, or similar platforms to ensure real-time performance.
-Explore and implement state-of-the-art AI methods to enhance system capabilities.
4. System Integration & Testing:
-Integrate AI-driven applications with drone hardware and external sensors, including cameras, LiDAR, GPS, and IMUs.
-Conduct testing under diverse environmental and operational scenarios, debugging and improving systems as necessary.
-Provide support for troubleshooting and enhancing the system’s real-world performance.
5. Innovation and Collaboration:
-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware engineers, AI researchers, and business analysts, to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
-Stay updated on emerging trends in AI, robotics, and drone technologies, and suggest innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
-Share insights and contribute to internal knowledge bases through presentations or technical papers.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
-3-4 years of experience in AI, computer vision, or robotics, preferably in drone-related applications.
-Proficient in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
-Hands-on experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
-Strong knowledge of tools for real-time processing, such as GStreamer, DeepStream, or equivalent.
-Experience with ROS/ROS 2, drone SDKs, and sensor integration.
-Familiarity with computer vision techniques like object detection, segmentation, and 3D mapping.
Soft Skills:
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Educational Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or a related field.
-Proven track record of implementing AI solutions in drone or robotics projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in deploying AI models on edge platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson or Qualcomm RB5.
-Exposure to SLAM, sensor fusion, or real-time navigation systems.
-Understanding of drone regulations and compliance standards.
-Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant fields.
