Location: London Waterloo, hybrid working applies with circa 2 to 3 days in the office.

About the role:

You’ll report to the Head of Product Analytics, and own end-to-end data processes - from pipeline development to delivering actionable insights that drive our product strategy. You’ll undertake advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. This includes collaborating with the wider product and tech team to inform decisions and influence strategy. You’ll be responsible for data modelling and visualisation ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Gumtree is a highly collaborative environment where you’ll work as a part of a wider Product, UX, Engineering and Data teams to combine and leverage quantitative and qualitative insight to drive our product agenda. What are we looking for?

• A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar with proven experience in building complex data models and performing advanced analytics.

• You’ll be technically strong in SQL and DBT or similar data modelling tools. You’ll also be skilled in Python and Product Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4), testing frontend event-triggers across devices, and handling raw data outputs.

• Your experience includes statistical analysis, A/B testing, data pipelines and data warehousing concepts.

• You love data visualisation and reporting and have experience with tools such as Colab, Tableau, and Looker Studio.

• You’ll enjoy being part of a fast-paced forwarding thinking business, encouraging open communication, collaboration and building great products together!
