We are building the #1 Audiovisual Platform by combining state-of-the-art AI with trusted language experts to produce high-quality transcriptions, subtitles, and AI dubbing at speed.

About the role

This is a hybrid role, based in Barcelona.*

As our new Product Manger, you’ll join the newly-formed Services Squad to define and create the language workforce of tomorrow. You’ll partner with a cross functional team of specialists in machine learning, agentic LLMs, general software engineering the language industry and UX Design to reinvent how audio visual languages services are delivered.

Your mission will be to create awesome tools that empower our teams to go above and beyond what’s currently possible. You’ll need to use a mix of agents, software and linguists to deliver our services on time, on budget and on quality. We’re asking you to define and build the future of how an entire industry works. If successful, we expect this to reshape out 100b market.

*Happy Scribe is office-first, remote-friendly. This means we value in-person collaboration and aim to spend most of our time working together at the office, but we're also flexible and happy to accommodate your needs to travel or work remotely when necessary.

What you’ll do

• You are ultimately responsible for setting priorities and achieving results

• The squad has full ownership of our service journey, from the moment a request is submitted to its successful delivery. This includes general AI services, ML models, humans and other tooling

• Map and understand the bottlenecks in providing our current services on time, on budget and on quality. Overcome them as a team.

• Help design and spec improvements of varying sizes and complexity from experiment, to feature, to large-scale initiative – you must be comfortable flying high and getting into the weeds

• Work closely with our leadership team to ensure that our services strategy and overall company strategy are in lock-step at all times

What you'll bring

We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our team and believe that they can come from anywhere. If you feel like you don't meet all of the requirements for this role, we encourage you to apply anyways.

• You are a Senior Product Manager - you have 4+ years experience as a PM, or 2 years experience as a PM, coming from a technical background (Engineer, Data, AI). You code a bit and have strong opinions.

• You’re in love with AI – you should be on the cutting edge of what’s feasible with AI, trying new products and implementing best practices. Ideally you’ve previously built AI systems with human reinforcement.

• You can transform Chaos into Clarity – you're skilled at taking unstructured ideas, workflows, or environments and creating clear, scalable, and effective structures that drive team efficiency and alignment. Ambiguity doesn’t worry you.

• You’re data driven and analytical - you know how to determine what metrics matter the most before launching an improvements. You’re able to use data tools like Amplitude, and run simple SQL queries. You have strong data intuition and the ability to identify and remove biases when gaining insights from data.

• You have proven experience of working on an empowered team of engineers, designers, and internal stakeholders; guiding them on the product development process. Conducting retros and plannings. You bring them along from defining requirements to measuring the results.
