Huntsman is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Job Scope

Are you an innovative thinker with a passion for driving business performance into the future? We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst reporting to the Supply Chain Performance Manager to join our Global Excellence team. In this role, you will play a global role and leverage data, AI, and advanced analytics to enhance our supply chain strategy, drive efficiency, and empower data-driven decision-making.

Join our Huntsman Advanced Materials division and bring your expertise in AI-driven analytics to make a substantial impact on our business performance. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen.

In summary, as the Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst, you will:  

• Executive Reporting: Create real-time, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide strategic insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
• AI-Driven Use Cases: Design and implement AI and machine learning models for supply chain optimization in areas like planning, inventory management, and risk mitigation.
• Advanced Analytics & Scenario Planning: Utilize machine learning and advanced analytics for scenario planning, enhancing supply chain efficiency and optimizing inventory and cost structures.
• Develop and Monitor KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for our supply chain organization. Continuously assess and refine metrics based on feedback and evolving business needs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to implement new processes and data-driven practices, ensuring alignment with company standards and promoting best practices across teams.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years in business analytics or a similar role, with a focus on supply chain or operations.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Power BI and Azure Synapse Analytics for creating dashboards and visualizations.
• Machine Learning & AI: Proficient in Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML) and Python for developing and deploying predictive models.
• Data Engineering & ETL: Proficient in Azure Data Factory, SQL databases, and Azure Databricks for managing and transforming data pipelines.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and effectively communicate insights to a multicultural audience.
• Proven ability to manage projects, facilitate change, and deliver results in dynamic environments.
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to leverage data insights to meet business objectives.
• Ability to collaborate with cross regional departments

Preferred Qualifications

• A master's degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex data manipulation is a plus.
• Familiarity with MRP tools and SAP is a plus.
