Business Intelligence Lead

BI typically handles analysis and data modelling design using data collected in a centralised data warehouse or multiple databases throughout the organisation. It’s a role that combines hard skills like programming, data modelling and statistics with soft skills like communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving. Candidates need a well-rounded background to balance the line between technology and the business.

Your main duties in flying with us:

• Oversee analytics projects across the products to ensure that best practices are being leveraged and business questions are answered.
• Drive analytics projects—spanning across products—that improve efficiency and quality.
• Mentor analysts to develop their technical and statistics skills.
• Deliver analysis, insights, reporting, data marts, and tools to support the business team.
• Explore various datasets to generate insights, conclusions and recommendations.
• Build & maintain data mart and dashboards for tracking business OKR and initiatives.
• Identify product or business opportunities and support growth with experimentations and recommendations.

Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:

• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence
• At least 1 years of experience in leading a data analytics and business intelligence team
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills
• The ability to work both as a team and independently
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize daily tasks while being goal-oriented
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and Data Warehouse (e.g. Airflow, BigQuery)
• Expert in SQL and strong experience with a Data Visualization and Reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Data Studio)
• Good understanding in statistical summary and inference (hypothesis testing: t-test, ANOVA, etc)
• Practical knowledge of programing languages (e.g. Python, Shell) and Python/R for statistical analysis
