Compensation
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.
Expected Minimum Pay Rate
USD $60,400.00/Yr.Expected Maximum Pay Rate
USD $78,555.00/Yr.Responsibilities
What You Will Do
Under general supervision, the Finance Master Data Specialist is responsible for processing information and integrating it into the information management systems and maintaining master data compliance. This job classification serves as a primary point of contact to cross-functional internal and external stakeholders in performance of Financial master data maintenance by providing answers to questions and issues related to Raley’s master data. This job classification requires the ability to accurately manage, analyze, problem solve and interpret a variety of data.
How You will Make a Difference
- Provides key coordination, execution, and maintenance of Financial master data workflow and compliance activities to maintain master data integrity and accuracy.
- Works with stakeholders to ensure master data and compliance documents are accurately captured and support business transactions.
- Responsible for the integrity of the Business Partner and other Finance master data is the financial system of record, among others.
- Manages volume and provides exceptional service levels.
- Provides training and support to new hires; properly documents master data processes.
- Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned functional area.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves problems related to master data and governance processes under area of responsibility.
- Performs tasks associated with data input from legacy system to SAP while maintaining data integrity.
- Maintains current knowledge of software application features, changes, and enhancements.
- Monitors workflow and data injection points to ensure timely processing of financial master data.
- Researches issues as reported by stakeholders.
- Utilizes system-generated reports to perform analysis of the financial master data’s accuracy.
- Recommend, designs, and implements ongoing improvements related to financial master data processes and analysis.
- Responsible for understanding master data compliance, data guidelines, and their impact on processes and systems.
- Provides reporting, analysis and documentation of financial master data and governance processes and serves as point of contact for inquiries.
- Performs special project conversions as part of a team on a larger, complex project.
- Analyzes vendor interactions with system processes to optimize transactional relationships and achieve team goals.
- Researches variances and anomalies.
Qualifications
Education & Exerience
Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business plus a minimum of two or more (2+) years of related work experience in data management or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills & Abilities
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems (preferred).
- Experience with document imaging, late archiving (preferred).
- Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of financial master data.
- Ability to perform large volume data analysis; ability to learn Vlookup and Pivot Tables.
- Ability to acquire knowledge of systems, procedures and business objectives and stakeholder impacts.
- Ability to analyze processes and apply continuous improvement.
- Ability to use data tables and perform queries for analysis.
- Ability to complete work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to present analysis and conclusions in a clear and concise format using charts and tables.
- Good customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to relate well to others and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to train and motivate employees.
- Detail oriented.
- Demonstrates organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a normal business office environment.
