Palantir Data Analyst

As a Development Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and maintaining data within the Palantir platform to drive business decisions and optimize workflows. Your primary responsibility will be to create, maintain, and support various projects across the Palantir platform for diverse teams with varying levels of urgency. This role requires a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design effective solutions within Palantir.
• Extract and import data from various sources into Palantir, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to present data in a clear and understandable manner.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by implementing proper access controls and data validation procedures.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure business performance against defined goals.
• Design, create, and maintain Palantir Ontologies that align with business requirements and processes.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Palantir functionalities, best practices, and data management techniques.
• Stay informed about the latest Palantir features, and updates to propose innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
• Provision new users and monitor access levels and business groups within the Palantir Platform.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent professional experience
• Three or more years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on data analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency using Excel, Smartsheet, or similar data analysis/reporting tool to manage and analyze data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two or more years of experience working with Palantir
• Prior experience working business intelligence tools, specifically PowerBI
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Relevant certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or Smartsheet
