Meet the team: 
Dexcom’s Business Transformation and Operational Excellence (BTOE) team is looking for an experienced and technically savvy Sr. Data Engineer for our Process Mining, Business Process Management platform. This role is pivotal in helping us achieve our internal mission to scale our business effectively and efficiently. The right applicant will join a successful and rewarding BTOE team to Sr. Data Engineer design, program and deliver mined processes using our Celonis platform to visualize process performance and help transform our operations. 

Where you come in: 
•    You will participate in process discovery workshops to provide technical guidance on topics such as ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) pipeline, technical process flow, and overall project scope for process mining implementation projects.
•    You will provide ongoing support for existing projects to elicit additional requirements and refine models and analysis beyond initial deployment.
•    You will support the build of data environments that enable analytics solutions pulling from a variety of platforms.
•    You will develop data models, analysis, and KPIs in Celonis according to requirements.
•    You will extract and transform source data and load it into the Celonis process mining platform.
•    You will document technical specifications of models and analysis for reference.
•    You are responsible for successful process mining deployment by supporting development, documentation, validation, and post-deployment support of Celonis data model and analysis.
•    You will develop machine learning models to conduct predictive analysis as required.
•    You will assist with delivering documentation, coding standards, procedures, and proprietary models and analysis.
•    You are able to think analytically and creatively to apply Celonis solutions to core business problems to add value to the business.
•    You have effective communication skills and are able to build relationships within and outside the organization.
 
What makes you successful: 
•    You have 2+ years of SQL and ETL experience.
•    You have 1+ year of Celonis or similar platform experience with process analysis, transformation, development, event collection, and action engine.
•    You possess knowledge of SDLC (Solution Delivery Life Cycle).
•    You have experience with Python and knowledge of ML models.
•    You have completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, or an equivalent field.
•    You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Your strong communication and management skills enable you to work independently and with teams.
