Meet the team: 
Dexcom’s Business Transformation and Operational Excellence (BTOE) team is looking for an experienced and technically savvy Staff Data Engineer for our Process Mining, Business Process Management platform. This role is pivotal in helping us achieve our internal mission to scale our business effectively and efficiently. The right applicant will join a successful and rewarding BTOE team to develop and deliver mined processes using our Celonis platform to visualize process performance and help transform our operations. 

Where you come in: 
•    You oversee prioritization and development to manage global, multidimensional projects and partner with various stakeholders for the implementation of these initiatives against program timelines.
•    You participate in process discovery workshops to contribute on topics such as ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) pipeline, technical process flow, and individual project deliverables for process mining implementations.
•    You provide ongoing support for existing coded solutions to refine models and analysis beyond initial deployment.
•    You support the build of data environments that enable analytics solutions pulling from a variety of platforms.
•    You develop data models, analysis, and simulations in Celonis according to requirements.
•    You extract and transform source data and load it into the Celonis process mining platform.
•    You document technical specifications of models and analysis for reference.
•    You are responsible for successful process mining development, documenting techniques, validating code quality, and post-deployment support of Celonis data model and analysis.
•    You assist with delivering documentation, following coding standards and procedures.
•    You help drive significant business outcomes and ROI by leveraging the insights uncovered in the process mining application.
•    You are able to think analytically and creatively to apply Celonis solutions to core business problems to add value to the business.
•    You have effective communication skills and are able to build relationships within and outside the organization.

What makes you successful: 
•    You have 1+ year of Celonis or similar platform experience with process analysis, transformation, development, event collection, and action engine.
•    You have 2+ years of SQL and ETL experience.
•    You possess knowledge of SDLC (Solution Delivery Life Cycle).
•    You have experience with Python and ML models.
•    You have experience with proven results in business systems analytics or continuous improvement.
•    You hold a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or better certification.
•    Your knowledge of enterprise integrations is a plus.
•    You have completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, or an equivalent field.
•    You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    You can work independently and with teams.
•    You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
