Nvblox excels in real-time 3D reconstruction and has been widely adopted in navigation and manipulation use cases for collision avoidance. We target to further evolve learned manipulation policy networks with a fast and stable 3D reconstruction as inputs, greatly improving model’s generalization capabilities with 3D geometry awareness.
You will work with an amazing and collaborative team that consistently produces influential works on robotics. You will have a chance to collaborate with experts from areas including multimodal foundation models, large-scale robot learning, and physical simulation. Your contributions will have a significant impact on NVIDIA’s moonshot Project GR00T and robotics product roadmaps.
What you'll be doing:
Design and implement novel AI algorithms and models for robotics manipulation tasks;
Deep dive into 3D perception efficacy on robotics manipulation model;
Optimize and deploy AI models in physical simulation and on robot hardware;
Collaborate with research and engineering teams across all of NVIDIA to transfer applied research works to products and services.
What we need to see:
Pursuing Ph.D. degree with the background of robotics learning or 3D computer vision.
Outstanding engineering skills in rapid prototyping and model training frameworks (PyTorch, Jax, Tensorflow, etc.).
Python programming skills.
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience for robot arms.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Proficiency in C++, CUDA, or ROS.
Robotics learning conference (CoRL, ICRA, etc.) publications in robotics manipulation domain.
Hands on experience on robotics manipulation.
Experience in foundation and diffusion models, reinforcement learning, agent learning, and applied robotics.
