General Summary

This Pricing Intern role with some prior actuarial experience (not limited to pricing work). This requires an enthusiastic learner who can work on the pricing models and help on various research and analysis to develop pricing assumptions with guidance. The person will closely work and support the product development work. The job requires some base knowledge of analytical tools like R and Python which can assist in general data analytical work. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing quotes within the agreed timelines and established quality standards  

• Work with different functions like BD, Underwriting and Claims on to ensure the information used for pricing is complete and accurate.  

• Maintaining complete and accurate pricing documentation.   

• Work on various data analytics projects to support different pricing assumptions. 

• Support research and analysis as required for product development and other actuarial work. 

• Drafting proposal and treaty documentation.  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a related field  

• Cleared minimum 2-3 exams from a recognized Actuarial Institute as per new curriculum. 

• Candidate with Internship experience are preferred. 

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written Communication skills and ability to communicate complex problem to variety of stakeholders. 

• Sound working knowledge of MS Excel, Macros, MS Word and any actuarial/statistical software.  

• Working knowledge of software like Oracle, R and Python would be preferred. 

• An ability to set and manage priorities in a changing work environment is essential.

Note: This is on site position in Mumbai for 1 year internship.
