This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA
About the Role
This role is ideal for a candidate with a robust background in machine learning, particularly with expertise in time series forecasting and optimization, who is eager to impact business outcomes through innovative pricing and promotional solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to enhance pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness, focusing on both demand forecasting and optimization.
- Build end-to-end solutions utilizing our unique data sources, from data exploration, model design, training, testing, deployment, to monitoring and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce machine learning innovations and address optimization challenges within pricing and promotional planning, aimed at improving revenue growth, profitability, and overall business efficiency.
- Drive insights and strategies by leveraging strong analytical skills along with machine learning and statistical models to capitalize on new business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
- MS or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as computer science, data science, math, statistics, or physics
- Two years applied machine learning experience in a professional setting, familiar with at least one mainstream deep learning framework, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proficiency in Python and/or other object oriented programming language and experience with ML frameworks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and deliver excellent results
- Strong communication skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with time series models and forecasting.
- Proven track record of solving complex optimization problems.
- Familiarity with promotional planning and pricing strategies; direct experience would be advantageous but not required.

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $149,000 - 175,000
- This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
