Would you like to deliver on both projects and operations activities while being in close collaboration with your team and stakeholders? We are looking for a highly motivated expert candidate to develop and maintain Advanced Analytics within IT Ops. You will also be driving requirements and managing strategic change initiatives.

Welcome to Insights Analytics & Engeenering team of 20+ great people doing Agile. We deliver digital solutions within IT operations to Nordea Technology & Business, subsidiaries, suppliers and regulators.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Co-creating novel ideas with our stakeholders

  • Co-building a future Insights Data Analytics service

  • Working with hypothesis to prove or reject business statements

  • Build, design and maintain data architecture ensuring complete collection and quality of data while adhering to best data practices

  • Design, build, test and maintain data pipelines.

  • Building advanced reports/dashboards, Hypothesis testing and designing statistical models  

  • Analysing, processing and modelling data, interpret the results to create actionable insights

  • Troubleshooting solutions and innovating

  • Working within SAFe Scrum Team with the aligned autonomy

  • Acting as a subject matter expert and make recommendations to IT and business stakeholders

  • Development & Performance, Goals and Follow-up to plan your individual competence and skills development with your manager and feedback from colleagues and your stakeholders

The role is based in Warszawa; Gdynia; Stockholm. We work in hybrid mode, allowing employees for Home Office to a certain extent (upon generic Nordea guidelines and agreement with the line manager).

  • Have excellent both interpersonal & communication skills
  • Have excellent English written and spoken skills (C1 level at least)

 

Your experience and background:  

  • Experience with Data Warehousing, data mining, data storage, data security and ETL (SSIS, Snowflake)

  • Professional experience in SQL (T-SQL preferred), DAX
  • Professional experience using Python or R programming languages for ML and data wrangling
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques for descriptive and predictive analytics
  • Experience in one or more Business Intelligence tool as MS Power BI/Microsoft Fabric (preferred)
  • Experience in working with data of MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Dataverse etc.
  • Lean-Agile trained or certified (Scrum or SAFe)
  • Master degree at least in Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
  • Proven work experience with minimum 3+ years in similar role
