Summer Trainee, Data Analytics

to our Marketing & Services Business Area’s Data, Analytics and Insight team in Espoo. We are a team of 7 professionals dedicated to supporting M&S business units to achieve their strategic and efficient business growth targets by turning data into action.

Your role during the summer

You will support your team in delivering high-quality data solutions while deepening your expertise in data analytics and cloud platforms like Google BigQuery. Your tasks include assisting with SQL queries, ensuring data quality, and adhering to GDPR principles. You’ll collaborate with data specialists and stakeholders from marketing, sales, and customer service to provide actionable insights and improve data processes.

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You are currently studying or have studied a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Technology
• Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English
• Motivation to learn and deepen your knowledge in SQL, data analytics, and cloud platforms
• Some experience with SQL or relational databases is a plus
• Earlier work experience in data analytics or related tasks is valued but not mandatory

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo with excellent transport connections. We work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging. 

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2300 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated in 2024. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2025.
