​​The team manages Azure HDInsight product and also works on Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering layer.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for developing solutions for the functional and security requirements in Azure Big Data platform based on Open-Source Software such as Hadoop and Spark. 
Candidate will be leveraging the Spark, AI and Cognitive Services of Microsoft Fabric to build native, cost effective and user-friendly solutions for Data Engineering applications at scale. 
 
Languages: Java, Python, Scala, C#. 
Skills: Linux based system debugging, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Azure cloud technologies, Distributed Systems.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

​​Academics: B.E./ B.Tech. or equivalent degrees in Computer Science (Masters is a plus).

Other Requirements Experience Level: - 4+ year​ 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: 

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
