We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Governance Senior Analyst/ Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all processes are compliant with data usage standards. This role involves close coordination with process owners, ITSOs, and data leads across markets to understand processes, develop data dictionaries, and evidence data controls to mitigate risks. The Data Governance Senior Analyst/ Manager will also be instrumental in maintaining and updating critical data governance artefacts on platforms such as Collibra and JIRA.

 

 

The opportunity

  • Collaborate with process owners, ITSOs, and data leads to identify critical data elements and understand processes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary.
  • Implement and evidence data controls to mitigate risks in accordance with the DUSE framework.
  • Provide regular status updates to execution POD leads in India and the Zonal officer, escalating risks as necessary.
  • Update and manage data governance artefacts, including data dictionary files and control evidences, on the Collibra platform and JIRA.
  • Participate in Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning and execution.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data governance, including data lineage, data controls, and data quality.
  • Ability to independently conduct meetings with process owners and ITSOs to gather information related to data governance.
  • Strong background in banking processes and understanding of the associated data governance needs.
  • Capability to synthesize various data points and provide summarized updates to POD leads and the Zonal officer.
  • Proficiency with data governance platforms such as Collibra, JIRA, and Confluence.

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certification in data governance or related fields
