The Data Visualization & Dashboard Development Internship will be a hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote per week) based at our downtown Boston HQ located at 125 Summer St. This internship will run from June 2, 2025, to August 22, 2025, and offers a unique opportunity to transform complex data into actionable insights for one of the industry’s leading MedTech companies.

What You Will Do

This project aims to enhance complaint monitoring and management processes by standardizing data review and creating a Tableau dashboard. The dashboard will automate the flow of complaint data for disposable and equipment products, offering real-time insights and trend tracking across product families.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Data Standardization:

• Define and implement a standardized dataset for managing complaints across disposable and equipment product categories.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for dashboard integration.

Interactive Dashboard Creation:

• Design and build a Tableau dashboard that visually presents complaint data by product family and tracks trends over time.
• Make the dashboard accessible and user-friendly for cross-functional teams.

System Integration & Automation:

• Connect the Tableau dashboard to the Agile system to enable automated daily updates and real-time data feeds.
• Test, review, and validate the system to ensure accurate and reliable complaint tracking.

Data Validation & Monitoring:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to verify data quality and relevance.
• Ensure the dashboard meets the needs of end-users for tracking, monitoring, and trend analysis.

Education

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization tools is required.
• Knowledge of database management and system integration (e.g., SQL, Agile PLM, or similar tools).

Skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data review and validation.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to contribute to innovative data solutions.
