Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Intern, Data Science to join the AI Menu Content Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

Your work will have a direct impact on how we attract and retain customers, creating data-driven, personalized interactions that keep them coming back. As part of our Consumer Team, you’ll enhance customer satisfaction and drive global growth and profitability through innovative projects.

Our AI Menu Content Team focuses on generating and enhancing food images, turning data into visually engaging and appetising menus. By leveraging cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning techniques, you will help us create compelling, accurate, and high-quality images that drive user satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our content is both data-driven and innovative. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to explore the latest advancements in AI and deep learning techniques. You’ll learn from industry experts while applying your analytical abilities in real-world scenarios. Your contributions will enhance user interactions and directly impact global growth and profitability.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze large datasets comprising millions of food images and descriptions, to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for improving image generation and enhancement.

• Build machine learning and deep learning models to create or refine menu images.

• Implement robust data pipelines and experiments to evaluate model performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production workflows.

• Evaluate the quality of generated images using both automated metrics and user feedback.

• Communicate findings, progress, and results to stakeholders, translating data insights into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Solid background in Python, with experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge of classical machine learning algorithms and neural networks

• Familiarity with data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation for model training.

• Familiarity with SQL, including the ability to write basic queries for data manipulation and analysis.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of computer vision techniques and SOTA models

• Experience with Image Generation (e.g., GANs or image diffusion models).
