Insurance is all about life. And these days more than ever, it’s all about data. At If, we are developing technical solutions that have the power to turn misfortunes into possibilities and dreams into reality. We are now looking for an analyst with a passion for data to help us accelerate our pace within analytics.

About the role

You will be working in a cross-functional agile team, generating insights, and improving our digital B2B customer journeys. To succeed in your work, you will utilize flexible and robust data platforms, like Google Cloud and Databricks for data transformations and Power BI for analysis and visualization.  This role blends data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and actionable insights to elevate customer engagement and satisfaction. Changing market trends and influx of data in the largest insurance company in the Nordics offer you a great opportunity to develop yourself and contribute to If’s success in commercial insurances.

Responsibilities of the role include:

•    Design, develop and maintain operational reports to follow up and optimize performance (i.e., digital sales, CRM activities, etc.).
•    Deep dive analysis to understand drivers of business performance and customer satisfaction.
•    Develop analytical data assets/data products to be used in CRM-activities.
•    Identify and specify needs for new data and take part in implementing new data pipelines.
•    Provide strategic insights to improve our customer journey.
•    Supporting users in their understanding of data and analytics, including evaluation of business results and communication with business stakeholders.

About the team

We strive to be an organization where you as an analyst can develop and be challenged, both personally and within analytics. Even though the work is autonomous, you won’t be left alone. We are team players with a strong drive and ambition to always deliver the best results - and we take pride in having fun along the way. Together we are a large Nordic community of technology and data professionals – over 200 colleagues supporting and pushing each other forward. We offer

In the same way that we place high expectations on you as an employee, we also expect you to place high demands on us as an employer. Here are some of the benefits of working at If:

  • An inclusive work environment where everyone is welcome

  • Career and development opportunities in the biggest insurance company in the Nordics

  • Social activities, as well as highly skilled professional environment

  • Possibility of hybrid workplace

  • Health promoting workplace with e.g., wellness allowance and various sports activities

  • Great insurance benefits

Who are you?

We think that you have a strong interest for digital business and customer experience, but what gets you up in the morning is your interest in data and analytics. You want to work cross functionally to improve customer journeys and to help us understand new and existing customers even better. You have previously worked with analytics within CRM or sales and are comfortable with transforming large amount of data into actionable insights. And you are comfortable with talking to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We believe in hiring talented candidates and giving them room to grow, but we hope you’ll recognize yourself from the following characterizations:

•    You have experience from a similar role.
•    You possess good data transformation and programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python).
•    You have data visualization experience from BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
•    You have gained some experience in using cloud platforms like Databricks and BigQuery
•    It would be great if you also have experience with web analytics tools like Google’s stack (incl GA, BigQuery and GTM), understanding of web technology (i.e., HTML or JavaScript), technical CRM understanding (for example with Salesforce) or experience working with CX data and its metrics like NPS.
•    You have a relevant university degree.
•    You are fluent in English, and in at least one Nordic language.
