Base Salary $99,455 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) established in 1988, is a leading Australian Academic Research Organisation with a world class international reputation for designing conducting and translating collaborative clinical trials research into improved health care practice. The CTC is also known for its innovation in clinical trials methodologies and its teaching excellence.
We are seeking an Evidence Analyst (Systematic Reviews and Data Analysis) to join our research team in Evidence Integration. You will be working on a broad range of clinical health areas, contributing to high-quality individual participant data meta-analyses that may go to inform health policy. Strong applications will have knowledge of individual participant data meta-analysis and relevant statistical experience. You will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
participate in foundational analytics projects, refining and executing analysis methodologies
conduct regular data cleaning activities to ensure data consistency and reliability
contribute to preliminary research efforts, collecting and analyzing data for systematic reviews
handle stakeholder communications effectively, fostering collaboration and trust
facilitate timely report submissions while maintaining data integrity
assist with ethics and grant applications, as well as research activities related to clinical trials
undertake ad-hoc projects and general office duties.
About you
hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Biostatistics) or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
demonstrated experience in data management and analysis (preferably using R)
experience in handling health data will be advantageous
excellent communication skills with a keen ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
proficient in database operations, data management, and word processing.
