What You’ll Be Doing
You will be joining the Risk Insights and Optimization (RIO) team. You will act as a guardian of the EAML data, ensuring it is accurate, accessible, and secure. As the Consultant, Data Governance you will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making while mitigating risks associated with data misuse and breaches. You will contribute to the data governance framework, integrity, quality and security of data while using data governance tools, data visualization tools, SQL and other data governance technologies.

How You’ll Succeed
Data Governance Framework – Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures. Enforce data ownership, stewardship, accountability and align with data classification and retention policies.
Data Quality – Identify and address data quality issues through data profiling, cleansing, and validation. Monitor data quality metrics and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with data owners to improve data accuracy and consistency
Data Security and Privacy – Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Collaborate with security teams to protect sensitive data. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement security measures.
Data Access and Usage – Define and enforce data access controls and permissions. Promote data literacy and data-driven decision-making.
Data Tools - utilize data governance tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Stay up-to-date with emerging data governance technologies.
Who You Are
You are detail-oriented and can demonstrate experience in data governance, data management, policies, procedures and methodologies.
You write SQL queries to extract data, create reports and are curious to understand data elements and analyze trends.
You have minimum 2 years of experience in Data profiling, Data mining and Data mapping experience
You have an in depth knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Purview)
You have excellent proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ SharePoint.
You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You communicate detailed information in a meaningful way.
