Join the Financial Crime Lifecycle Management Tribe at Danske Bank, a global team of over 100 dedicated professionals from three countries committed to fighting financial crime and enhancing banking safety. We are currently seeking a Data Analyst for our Transaction Analysis and Models squad. If you are passionate about data and have a strong analytical mindset, we encourage you to reach out to us. The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

You will:

  • Collaborate with a mature squad of skilled professionals, including data engineers, data analysts, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions
  • Generate detailed reports to deliver insights, including ad hoc data extraction
  • Integrate raw information from diverse sources, demonstrating your ability to work with various data sets
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and validation practices
  • Participate actively in a self-organising Scrum team, embodying an agile mindset
  • Be proactive and a team player, valuing collaboration as a key driver of success
  • Continuously improve data analysis techniques and processes to enhance efficiency and outcomes

About you:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or a similar role
  • You have good Python skills, along with familiarity in PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, Airflow, and SQL. Experience with AWS technologies will be a plus
  • You have a solid understanding of MS SQL and can write complex queries to effectively extract and manipulate data
  • You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling you to derive meaningful insights from complex data
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • You are adaptable and carry an agile mindset, open to adjustments based on new requirements or evolving team needs
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or similar is considered a benefit
  • Upper-Intermediate English language skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 2800 EUR to 4200 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
