Responsibilities:
- Azure Cloud Architecture & Engineering Mastery
You are adept at designing and managing Azure environments, ensuring seamless integration between diverse services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks. Your solutions prioritize scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Databricks
Expertise
You have hands-on experience optimizing Databricks clusters, implementing advanced Spark transformations, and building collaborative, high-performance environments for data engineers and scientists.
- Infrastructure
as Code (IaC) Proficiency
With deep experience in Terraform, you automate the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, enabling rapid, error-free scalability.
- CI/CD for
Cloud Platforms
You bring expertise in CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps or Gitlab, ensuring streamlined code deployment and system updates while maintaining robust security and compliance practices.
- Performance
Optimization
You excel in monitoring and fine-tuning platform performance to ensure optimal functionality for both operational and analytical workloads.
- Cross-Team
Collaboration
As a bridge between infrastructure and data teams, you foster a collaborative environment, ensuring the Azure platform meets both technical and business requirements.
Requirements
What we Value:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Azure platform engineering or a related role
- Expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark, and related tools
- Fluency
in English (German is a plus but not mandatory)
