We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Consultant with expertise in Data Science, to play a crucial role in leveraging data science and machine learning techniques to enhance requirements management and integration using the client's Requirement Management Tool for various large-scale IT systems for a European Commission project.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Business Consultant will include: 

  • Perform data mining and extraction from valuable data sources (Terminology & Clusters extraction);
  • Prepare training corpus for neural network training;
  • Utilize machine learning tools to select features, create, and optimize classifiers;
  • Carry out the pre-processing of structured and unstructured data;
  • Process, cleanse, and validate data integrity for analysis;
  • Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems;
  • Analyze large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions (Relations, Systems Conceptual Models (Semantic representation), Semantic and syntactic patterns identification);
  • Develop prediction systems and machine learning algorithms;
  • Integrate terminology, relations, patterns, and representations in the formalization layer;
  • Administer and configure SES ENGINEERING Studio platform (RQMT) Knowledge Management Module and related mechanisms;
  • Contribute to the RQMT Knowledge Domain preparation for requirements verification;
  • Develop and maintain ontologies integrated with sources and architecture elements and updated patterns inRQMT;
  • Perform vocabulary extraction and ontology definition for requirements;
  • Support the integration of DIS (Document Indexing Service) with RQMT;
  • Parsing and LB reconciliation mechanism and IA module business administration and configuration;
  • Prepare and present results in a clear and concise manner;
  • Ensure proper traceability and dependencies between requirements and architecture elements, and;
  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, including 5 years or more as a Data Scientist
  • Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and data mining techniques
  • Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, and management and strong Experience with requirements traceability and integration
  • Strong hands-on experience with the REUSE Company and SES ENGINEERING Studio platform; particularly with the Knowledge manager
  • Ability to develop and implement data-driven strategies for improving requirements management processes within the REUSE platform
  • Familiarity with standards such as IREB, INCOSE, BABOK v3, and SeBOK
  • Knowledge of ontology development and management
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148:2018: Systems and software engineering – Life cycle processes - Requirement’s engineering
  • Knowledge of ISO15288 [ISO/IEC/IEEE15288:2023] Systems and software engineering - Content of life-cycle information items
  • Knowledge of Systems and software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE)
  • Capacity in writing and presenting documents
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum software development methodologies
  • Fluency in English, French language knowledge is an advantage
