Are you Technical or Commercial student interested in topics related to business analytics and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2025? Do you want to gain valuable experience from Analytics Engineering tasks in an international work environment? We might have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for Summer Trainee, Analytics Engineer in Espoo or Hyvinkää to join our Business Intelligence -team, specializing in the development of business analytics in Konecranes' Industrial Services and Equipment business unit. In this role, your main responsibilities will revolve around developing and maintaining modern business datawarehousing solutions for BI reporting purposes for your business. Your tasks include creating new datawarehousing views for business analysts , further developing existing business datawarehousing solutions, collaborating with end users to collect new development needs and collaborating with other members of the team to develop the BI environment. In addition, you will work closely with other team members who will help you get started with day-to-day tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop your teamwork skills and network with industry professionals. Your workplace is in Keilaniemi, Espoo or Hyvinkää, but we also offer the opportunity to work remotely.

Qualifications

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a Technical or Commercial student who is motivated to learn more about business analytics tasks. You are welcome at Konecranes as yourself, but we especially appreciate good teamwork skills, a brisk attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Our work community is international, so it is important to have fluent knowledge of English in the position.

What should you bring?

• Studies in technical or commercial studies (preferably minimum stage of 3rd year)
• Understanding of business analytics and business reporting that you have had the opportunity to accumulate in your studies or working life
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and analysis.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with PySpark, Databricks and Power BI can be seen as a plus, but not necessary. We will train you for the work.
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial.
