Job Description
We currently have an incredible opportunity for a data savvy graduate to gain excellent exposure within the insurance sector and kick start their career.
As a Graduate Claims Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Claims department by providing analysis and insights. Your work will focus on interpreting data to deliver actionable recommendations, improving claims outcomes and enhancing overall company performance.
You’ll build analytical expertise by studying historical claims data to uncover trends and opportunities, helping to assess which risks to insure. Collaborating with teams like Actuaries, Data Scientists, and Pricing Engineers, you’ll learn to harness powerful insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Data Analysis: Working closely with colleagues to answer questions and make decisions about claims services we provide.
- Supporting Reporting and Management Information: Focusing on how we analyse and visualise information to help make smarter business decisions.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of claims data analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of claims saving initiatives.
- Contributing to developing a data driven culture
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong academic record, with a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science or related subject area.
- A passion for numbers and information.
- A talent for solving sophisticated problems.
- An ability to translate complex ideas into language that anyone can understand.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or similar. No idea what the basics you need here?
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
