Summary of Program

Jabil’s Summer Internship Program is set to launch in summer 2025. As an intern, you’ll have the unique opportunity to engage with Jabil’s leadership team and participate in a variety of experiences focused on professional development, networking, and community engagement.

Summary of Position

• Synthesizes, interprets, and leverages datasets based on modeling with process knowledge around planning, procurement, inventory control, manufacturing, and quality management and their interdependencies
• Become involved in learning about new tools through their use and functionality as well as helping to improve those existing and potentially providing input into new tools with the intention of automating reoccurring processes and manipulation of large datasets
• Presents results to management and business partners to support making high-impact business value decisions
• Continuously searches for innovative ways to drive awareness on data driven opportunities and will be recognized as a key member in the analytics/data science area within the operations domain to support all international regions
• Apply data and analytics in the identification and realization of sustainable continuous improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Extract, sort, format, interpret and communicate out various data analyses
• Engage in projects related to machine learning, automation, and data analytics to contribute to the development and application of cutting-edge technologies Jabil's global operations ecosystem.
• Participate in the development and implementation of software automation solutions to streamline operations processes while enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize creative thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges in the global operations process, proposing innovative solutions that can improve efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance overall performance.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to support operations initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering a holistic understanding of the supply chain ecosystem.
• Display adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment, responding effectively to changing priorities and new challenges

Qualifications
•Class Year(s): Rising Junior or Rising Senior

•Majors: Information Systems, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, and Business related fields.
• GPA: 3.0+
• Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 19, 2025 – Aug 8, 2025.​

• Skills: Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Access Database, Data Visualization, and Data Analytics.

• Recommended Skillsets: MRP and/or SAP experience.

• Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience.
