Role Overview:

The Data Governance focus specializes in developing tools and processes to maintain a common, firm-wide data standard.
Implements norms for creation and maintenance of common data dictionaries.
Assesses, manages, and maintains strategies to reduce data redundancy, increasing the consistency, quality, and confidence of data used for decision making.

This is a Remote position located in India. We are only considering candidates located in India and are not providing relocation at this time.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement automated frameworks for enterprise data quality with reusable rules and workflows.
  • Automate data quality checks using tools like Great Expectations and integrate workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement metadata-driven solutions and integrate tools like Collibra, Unity Catalog, and others.
  • Build dashboards, automate alerts, and provide recommendations to ensure consistent data quality.
  • Develop scalable solutions for real-time and batch data validation.
  • Engage with Data Stewards and business teams to define and manage metadata and assets.
  • Align data quality processes with governance policies and recommend enhancements.

About You:

  • 8+ years in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Engineering with modern data architectures.
  • Strong skills in Python, SQL, PySpark, Databricks, APIs, and AWS data tools.
  • Familiar with tools like Collibra, Alation, and Atlan, with expertise in metadata management.
  • Experience with orchestration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable workflow automation.
  • Proven experience in designing metrics, lineage tracking, and automated checks for various data types.
  • Exposure to Unity Catalog, medallion architecture, and machine learning for anomaly detection.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth integration of governance and quality initiatives.
