Manager, Product Management, EFP Lifecycle Developer Experience

As part of Capital One’s Enterprise AI and Machine Learning Product organization, you will contribute directly to shaping the platforms and tools that thousands of engineers, data scientists and analysts across the business apply to making decisions, managing risk, detecting fraud, and delivering intelligent and personalized customer experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to work with industry-leading and emerging technologies and methods to support some of the most critical applications as well as the most promising new use cases for ML and AI.

In this role, you will own developer experience for an Enterprise ML platform, building and delivering on a strategy and roadmap to enable feature developers across the business to achieve better results and reduce time to market with Software Development Kits (SDKs), API services, as well as code-centric frameworks, abstractions, templates, integrations, processes and documentation. You will be the team’s ambassador for developer experience internally and externally, advocating for and driving adoption of a consistent, powerful and easy-to-use set of tools that addresses needs and alleviates pain points across the model development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and data, and deeply empathizes with engineers and analysts. They are an outspoken advocate for best practices in code and data management, excited about the potential to streamline and automate repetitive work, and ready to get into the weeds on integration testing and deployment patterns. They keep a finger on the pulse of modern data and modeling tools and the problems they solve. They are comfortable in conversation with software engineering and data science teams as well as non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.

Product Managers take a holistic approach to creating value through applying human-centered design principles, deeply understanding the needs and opportunities in our business, fostering technological innovation, applying creativity to solve hard problems and embracing boundaryless leadership. Your expertise and insight will be integral to accelerating technology innovation and enabling better customer experiences at Capital One.
