Data Engineer III wanted by American Express Global Business Travel, Egencia in Bellevue, WA.

• Design, architect, implement, and support key datasets and frameworks that provide structured and timely access to impactful business information with the needs of the end customer always in view.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and data access APIs to integrate data from multiple sources using Python, C# and data platforms such as SQL Server, Spark or Hadoop. This includes designing large scale data warehouses and data lakes to support a variety of client and internal facing data analytics needs.
• Retrieve and analyze data using SQL and other data technologies.
• Utilize proficiency with agile processes, CICD frameworks, and source control tools.
• Develop and champion a deep understanding of vast data sources, and know exactly how, when and which cloud data technology to use to solve particular business problems.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience/skills. 

• 5 years of experience extracting, transforming, and loading large data sets using any one or a combination of SQL Server, Spark or Hadoop
• 5 years of experience developing data access APIs using object-oriented programming languages (any one or a combination of Python or C#)
• 5 years of experience with Agile utilizing JIRA, CICD frameworks utilizing Jenkins, and source control utilizing GIT
• 3 years of experience analyzing data using SQL
• 3 years of experience leading design and development of data related projects and data pipelines
• 2 years of experience with cloud data technologies (any one or a combination of Snowflake, EMR, Azure, or Azure Data Lake)

Salary range: $150,491-$203,000.  May work from home within commuting distance to the Bellevue, WA office. #LI-DNI
