Job Title: Senior Data Management, Reporting, and Visualization Lead

We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Senior Data Management, Reporting, and Visualization Lead to support our Canadian Organization, as part of our Commercial Operations Team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced data management and visualization skills with a focus on sales, marketing, medical, and customer/HCP engagement. This role is pivotal in transforming data into reports, dashboard, and visualizations to drive strategic decisions and enhance business performance.

In this role, you will leverage advanced data management, reporting, and visualization techniques to drive data-driven decision-making and support business growth. We seek a professional with strong technical expertise, a passion for data management, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on Canada specific priorities with collaboration with our regional and global colleagues and partners.
  • Data Cleaning and Preparation: Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting for analysis.
  • SQL Proficiency: Extracting and manipulating data from relational databases.
  • Data Modeling: Structuring data to support efficient analysis and reporting.
  • Statistical Analysis: Applying statistical techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Expertise in tools like Power BI (preferred), Tableau, etc. for creating compelling visualizations.
  • Dashboard Creation: Designing interactive dashboards to monitor key metrics and trends.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis and automation.
  • Reporting: Developing visual reports to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
  • Data Technologies: Local and cloud based pl for handling large datasets.
  • Storytelling with Data: Crafting narratives that make data insights accessible and actionable for decision-makers.
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Designing and managing ETL workflows to ensure data is accurately and efficiently managed from source systems to data warehouses, etc.
  • Cloud Data Platforms: Experience with AI concepts, cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud for scalable data storage and processing.
  • Data Governance: Implementing policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
  • Work closely and collaborate with Commercial Operation BIAs, SFE Specialists, Brand Teams, and Finance, to determine optimal requirements and outputs.

 Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related: In Data Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Certifications and Experience: Relevant Data Stewardship, Data Engineering, certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or Power BI, / Tableau Specialist.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data management, reporting, and visualization roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficient with Outlook and MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be ideal.
  • Continuous Learning: Updated with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices through online courses, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • Demonstrable the ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a high-pressure, constantly changing environment.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
