Sr Technical Program Manager, Alexa-Conversation AI Modeling and Learning

Key job responsibilities
* Define and deliver critical program across multiple teams
* Establish mechanism across internal and partner teams for the program
* Influence technical decisions
* Assess and mitigate risks, handle escalations, and provide concise and transparent updates to stakeholders at all levels
* Dive deep to understand complex problems and break them down into small pieces with straight forward solutions
* Mentor individuals in the community on advanced technical issues, and help them grow their careers

A day in the life
Your typical day might involve facilitating a brainstorming session with the AI research team, reviewing project milestones with engineers, and strategizing with product managers on feature prioritization. You'll also spend time analyzing data to make informed decisions about project direction and resource allocation.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
