Centralized Scheduling Analyst I - Corporate (Las Vegas)

JOB SUMMARY:
The Centralized Scheduling Analyst I role supports Caesars Entertainment’s Mountain West Region by providing world class analytical support, delivering insights that drive profit while maintaining exceptional service levels, and providing support for intentional workforce planning.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
•    Become a trusted business partner to Senior leaders in the organization. Leverage these relationships to support volume forecasting and workforce planning for multiple departments across all properties in the region
•    Conduct objective, rigorous analytics to help the business improve profitability through expense reduction and scheduling optimization 
•    Optimize schedules based on business needs and labor standards, ensuring resource allocation aligns with demand
•    Use Virtual Roster, UKG Basic, and/or UKG Advanced to manage scheduling and timekeeping systems
•    Distill datasets into actionable insights and recommendations that guide decisions and strategies
•    Contribute to the development of presentation materials and assist in presenting findings to senior management concisely in both verbal and written formats
•    Play an active role in the development, roll-out, and post-launch evaluation of strategic projects
•    Develop and support reporting for operating departments to provide leadership visibility into trends 
•    Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college
•    Strength in critical thinking, problem solving, and written and verbal communication. Comfort in articulating complex information and analyses to a variety of audiences
•    Intellectual curiosity and willingness to quickly learn relevant database applications and software, as well as industry-specific terminology and dynamics
•    Demonstrated interest in a career in the hospitality industry
•    Desire to understand a broad range of operations within the casino and hospitality industry
•    Outstanding organizational and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines while consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work
•    Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment
•    Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Degree in one of the following areas: Finance, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Hotel Management, Business, or Data Science
•    Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: SQL, R, VBA, SAS, Python, and/or experience in working with Google BigQuery. Experience in working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Hyperion experience a plus
•    Experience with UKG Pro WFM or Virtual Roster
