Overview

As the Manager for RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), you will be at the forefront of driving technological transformation within HireRight.

You will lead initiatives to optimize, automate, and innovate processes through advanced technologies while mentoring teams and establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE). Your expertise will directly impact business growth by implementing scalable solutions in background verification and related domains.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Mentorship:

• Manage a team of ML and RPA engineers to deliver solutions that address quality and operational efficiencies.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, and business analysts in the design and implementation of AI/ML and RPA-based solutions.
• Provide technical leadership by staying updated on emerging trends in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and process automation to align with the company’s strategic goals.

2. Center of Excellence (CoE) Formation:

• Establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for RPA, AI ML, and GenAI aimed at providing thought leadership, resources, and governance models to implement these technologies across business units.
• Define standards and best practices for technology implementation, maintenance, and scaling within the CoE to ensure high-quality solutions and continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration between internal teams and external vendors to evaluate and select the right tools, platforms, and partners for solution deployment.

3. Business Process Transformation:

• Evaluate and analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement through automation, machine learning models, or AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define high-value use cases, demonstrating ROI, and translating them into actionable technical solutions.
• Implement and oversee the integration of AI/ML models and RPA solutions into existing workflows to ensure seamless adoption and optimization.

4. Product Strategy & Roadmap:

• Define and manage the product roadmap for AI ML, RPA, and Generative AI initiatives, balancing short-term wins with long-term strategy.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify gaps and opportunities where automation and AI solutions can differentiate the company in the background verification space.
• Align the product strategy with business objectives to ensure technology initiatives support business growth and operational efficiency.

5. Solution Design & Optimization:

• Evaluate and select optimal tools and frameworks for implementing AI/ML models, RPA workflows, and Generative AI platforms, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML models and RPA systems from design, training, testing, deployment, and monitoring to refinement till Deployment in Production.
• Leverage Generative AI for automating content creation, data synthesis, and enhancing customer interactions where applicable.

6. Stakeholder Management & Reporting:

• Engage with key stakeholders to communicate project updates, technical challenges, and business impacts of implemented solutions.
• Define key metrics and KPIs for measuring the success of AI/ML and RPA initiatives, driving continuous optimization through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience working in AI, ML, RPA, and/or Generative AI technologies.
• Proven experience in managing technical teams and leading cross-functional projects.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and scaling AI/ML models and RPA workflows.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.,) & programming languages such as Python, Java, and/or C++.
• Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI (GPT models, BERT) and how it applies to automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying scalable solutions.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and people management abilities.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
