Senior Associate, AWS Cloud Data Platform Site Reliability Engineer

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week 

What You’ll Do:
• Monitoring and Incident Management:
o Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively detect and resolve incidents.
o Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
o Manage incident response, including on-call rotations, triaging, and escalation.
• Infrastructure Automation and Management:
o Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
o Automate deployments, scaling, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
o Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and rollback processes.
• Performance and Reliability Optimization:
o Analyze performance metrics and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
o Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
o Conduct capacity planning and scaling to manage anticipated loads.
• Security and Compliance:
o Implement security best practices, including network security, IAM policies, and encryption.
o Conduct security audits and compliance checks to ensure regulatory adherence.
o Respond to security incidents and implement remediation measures.
• Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
o Work with development teams to ensure services are reliable, scalable, and easily monitored.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
o Identify and implement improvements to operational processes and workflows.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
o Design, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
o Ensure regular backups and replication to minimize data loss and downtime.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:  $95,000-$162,500 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
