Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.

Job Summary

Provides coaching, encouragement, practical advice, and objective feedback to clients on applying concepts, skills, or strategies associated with the practice of an academic or professional discipline.

Primary Responsibilities

• Experience using Pivot Tables and Vlookups in Microsoft Excel - Knowledgeable in SQL, Python, Microsoft Access, and Power BI or any other BI tool. 
• Experience in analyzing data from Monday.com, Handshake, and Qualtrics
• Knows how to manage integrations and automation in Monday.com 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
• Review resumes, research, and update resume reviews to include current standards/expectations across industries and global regions.
• Outreach and assist students with career preparation, internship, and job search.
• Assist students with Handshake registration and uploading required documents (i.e. resume, cover letter, other documents).
• Track student progress and maintain the Handshake database.
• Assist with special events, such as Career Fair, information sessions, and on-campus recruiting.
• Use office equipment, retrieve mail, e-mail, and direct inquiries.
• Oversee daily use of other web-based resources such as Vmock, Standout, the Ohana Network, and Handshake.
• Run reports as requested by department staff.
• Observe client mastery/practice of the skills, attitudes, and knowledge within a discipline or profession
• Offer suggestions or advice about improving client performance
• Performs other duties as assigned.
