The candidate will possess the ability to work independently in a small multi-disciplinary team utilizing their experience reviewing data to assess usefulness and identify statistically significant information, create statistical datasets, and produce analytical reports based on assessment.  In addition, hardware integration will be required between analysis projects. The candidate will be comfortable reviewing test plans and anticipating expected outcomes for data post processing. Creation of analysis reports will be required.  

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
• Background in software engineering with an emphasis on mathematics, statistics, and hardware communications
• Ability to create GUI’s in MATLAB and other languages
• Experience with communications protocols such as Serial, RS-232, RS-485, TCP/IP, and CAN bus
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, C#, or similar languages
• Knowledge of 3D kinematic equations, basic optical radiation calculations, and basic signals analysis
• Comfortable with vector calculus concepts such as basis vectors, coordinate transforms, and matrices
• Ability to create and explain detailed and complex analysis results to the engineering team
• Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint
• Ability to be onsite five days a week
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• U.S. Citizenship

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
